Used Classic Cars in Alabama

This MGB-GT, two-door coupe was my mother's car for 33 years, and she drove it regularly until 2021.

Since mid-2022, I have been storing it in my covered carport. When the battery is connected, it starts up and runs well. I currently have it registered as a non-operational vehicle (PNO). The car is in good condition cosmetically, and fair-to-good

mechanically. The original seats were replaced with high-quality leather seats with headrests. I have all of the repair documentation from the time my mother bought the car in July 1988. I am still in the process of gathering information to complete the car profile, and am planning on selling it, so to begin with am posting it here.

Used 1972 Triumph Spitfire MK IV, 33,690 miles

Converted to twin SU carburetors ported vacuum with matching rebuilt distributor. Top is good. No cracks in the glass. Everything works new carpeting new cushions and webbing on seats. This 1969 SCCA FP Triumph Spitfire was raced in SCCA events in the 1970s and 1980s before being acquired in 1987 by the Rob Stewart, who subsequently built the car for closed-circuit road racing using specifications from the 1969 edition of the SCCA�s general competition rules.

Power is provided by a.40 over 1296cc billet crank inline-four

( professional fresh rebuild Sept 2023 ) paired with a four-speed close-ratio gearbox sourced from a Triumph GT6 ( professional rebuild Nov 2023 ). New Sparco Evo QRT FIA seat , new Sabelt FIA 6pt seat belts. Additional equipment includes MSD ignition components, 3 qt.

Accusump, 2.3L Firecharger suppression system, two sets 13" Panasport wheels/Toyo tires , GT6-specification brakes, and Spax adjustable dampers as well as a 3.89:1 differential and billet-steel rear axles. The car has participated in events sanctioned by the Vintage Driver�s Club of America, the Sportscar Vintage Racing Association, and Historical Sportscar Racing, at tracks including Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta,

Watkins Glen International, Daytona International Speedway, Virginia International Raceway, and the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. Since 1991 #6 has participated in 100 documented events.

Finished 82 events with a class podium and 46 FP wins! This Spitfire race car is now in WNC with a custom over roll bar tonneau cover. Also available : 32 years of service records , receipts, extensive spare parts list , HSR , SVRA & VDCA competition log books and a collection of award medals. Started life as a Butternut yellow RS 327 Manual trans car. Updated to a RS/SS with a big block. Engine is a 468 stroker loaded with goodies, runs great, have all receipts and cam card. Not sure of the HP but it sounds amazing and is
