GREAT RUNNING TRUCK WITH TRAILER AND LOTS OF PARTS TO TAKE IT TO THE NEXT LEVEL!

This truck is an M998 High-Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle, commonly called a HMMWV (pronounced “humvee ”). The Humvee is a 1-1/4 ton truck with a 6.2L V8 diesel engine. The Humvee is 7’1? wide has a very high ground clearance of 16? under the axles,

and its width helps compensate for its high center of gravity. It has 4-wheel independent suspension and full-time 4-wheel drive. Ground clearance is improved by geared hubs in each wheel, which allows the axles to enter the hubs above the centerlines of the wheels.

The differentials are mounted even higher, creating the appearance of a cavernous tunnel underneath the truck. The 4-wheel disc brakes are mounted inboard at the differentials. Although it ’s a wide and heavy vehicle, the HMMWV is very easy to drive. It ’s curb-to-curb turning diameter is about 11? narrower than many mid-sized SUVs, allowing it to maneuver around obstacles much more easily than you would expect from

a truck of its size. It has an automatic transmission and power steering. The power steering applies a lot of steering boost, allowing the driver to make tight stop-to-stop turns with a finger or two.

The truck is a joy to drive right from the start. This truck is a 1989 AM General M998 that belonged to an Army Reserve unit prior to my purchase. It has 16,451 original miles on the motor and three-speed TH400 transmission and received the periodic updates while in service. When it came under civilian ownership, it was registered, licensed, and insured (and is currently in South Carolina) for road use. The exterior has been truck bed coated black and the soft top and doors have been changed

out from woodland camouflage to black. This truck has a keyed ignition and is in mechanically sound condition.

INCLUDED with the Humvee is a 2003 Silver Eagle M1101 Cargo Trailer. The Silver Eagle M1101 is designed to be fully compatible with the military High Mobility Multi-Purpose Wheeled Vehicle, (HMMWV). The trailer has a similar width, ground clearance and wheel track as the HMMWV. ADDITIONAL PARTS that are included are a full NOS Red Dot Air Conditioning System that has never been installed, complete turbo system from a 6.5L V8 diesel Chevy Express Van, an Ibis Tek 40k lbs. military tow bar, pintle hitch mount for civilian trucks, military 12 pin to civilian 7 pin trailer lighting adapter, 700R4 automatic transmission with 4 speed gear shift, four leather seats w/armrests, and a radio tray mount.

True RM Matching numbers. Frame on 4 year old restoration, no rust. with BUILD SHEET. Body- No rust, new paint. new quarters, rockers, trunk pan. Great car for driver. Engine - (rebuilt by TD machine. The owner of TD figured horsepower to be about 390 HP and a little over 400 HP if a fan clutch is installed. ) 383 new rebuild

with 500 miles. Line bored, 30 over, balanced and blueprinted. Engine was decked. Original pistons, 510 cam. New Holley dual feed 650 carburetor. MSD ignition, coil and distributor. Have original engine parts. Heads - port, polished and shaved. I believe there was over sized/race valves in it from previous rebuild.

He had an original transmission from a very low mile '69 roadrunner. He used those original gears, not aftermarket. So the housing is matching number original transmission. Interior - floor pans wire-wheeled and undercoated, new carpet, new upholstery on seats and headrests, with one of a kind roadrunners embroidered in. Currently working on the rest of interior and gauges.

Has aftermarket triple gauges installed under dash. No holes were drilled for gauges. Top- new white top, hydraulic lift works great. speed drop top. Matching numbers.

Rally wheels with rings, old school Lemans white letter tires not available anymore but tires are in great shape. Have roadrunner stickers too. I have not put them on because I wanted to do a better polish job first. If you want a GREAT classic muscle car convertible that runs well, looks great, but needs some of the final finishes done. here is the car for you!

Rebuilt numbers matching engine, 3-speed manual transmission with working overdrive. Factory correct rims, trim rings, hub caps and black rubber gravel guards. Rebuilt generator, starter and fuel pump. New carpet and seat covers. Solid floorboards and rockers. Many new parts and new Firestone

wide white-wall tires. Car comes with the following items: Original owner's manual, Technical Service Manual, Nash Paint Chip Brochure, Nash Dealer Award Key chain from 1948 and DVD from Velocity Channel. The mileage on the odometer is believed to be accurate due to the number of years it wasn't titled.

However, I can NOT substantiate the claim. Needs cloth top otherwise complete. Frame and bows are complete. Has dealer install power hydraulic top but motor needs rebuilt. All lights work including dash lights, Clock in glove box door works. All gauges work with the exception of the gas gauge.
