the US market, this is an original US spec car equipped from the factory with the 5spd manual gearbox (as evidenced by the "8" in the 8th digit of the VIN). Between two years of production (1993-94), just 58 of these special order XJS 2+2 4 seater convertibles were ever made, with likely just a fraction left in existence and none that I have seen for sale.

This example is an Indiana vehicle since 1996 when it was sold by the Jaguar Dealership in NC as a Select Edition certified vehicle and has been dealer serviced at the Indianapolis Jaguar dealer thereafter. We have went over this car thoroughly and all of the fender lips are clear and factory bonding strips are there, even the factory screws are in the rain

gutters. Inner fenders are super clean and factory correct. Aztec Copper paint is in excellent shape with a few minor imperfections and cracks due to the age of the paint. This car was frame off restored years ago and still looks great. The chrome is clean with mirror finishes with minor scratches.

The engine compartment it ’s numbers matching 283CI 270 HP engine. The correct Carter carburetors with ID tags still on them. Factory correct AC Delco generator is on the car. This car has its correct 3-speed transmission which was recently gone through. The rear end is correct with axle stamp.
