This is one of only 58 XJS 2+2 Convertibles ever made for the US market with the factory fitted 5spd manual Getrag transmission!
One of the rarest collectible vehicles on the planet, this car is in unbelievably clean condition inside and out and looks to be wearing almost all of it's original glossy black factory paint. Made only two years for
the US market, this is an original US spec car equipped from the factory with the 5spd manual gearbox (as evidenced by the "8" in the 8th digit of the VIN). Between two years of production (1993-94), just 58 of these special order XJS 2+2 4 seater convertibles were ever made, with likely just a fraction left in existence and none that I have seen for sale.
This example is an Indiana vehicle since 1996 when it was sold by the Jaguar Dealership in NC as a Select Edition certified vehicle and has been dealer serviced at the Indianapolis Jaguar dealer thereafter. We acquired the vehicle out of an estate through one of our sources and have just completed a thorough inspection and
full service to bring the car to excellent driving condition. It comes complete with all original books and paperwork as a Select Edition vehicle, as well as a full array of keys and remotes, as well as the original convertible top tonneau cover.
The car is loaded with factory options and features including: Factory 6CD changer, Power heated front seats, factory rear seating option, original 16" alloy wheels, Headlight washers, Power operated convertible top, Remote locks with factory alarm, Power antenna (works perfectly), and more.
