1973 Chevrolet Camaro This car has been garage kept for the last 25 years following a partial restoration.
The body was redone using primarily GM sheet metal which included full quarter panels, fenders, header panel, core support, inner fender wells, etc. The interior has new upholstery, headliner, dash pad, carpet, door panels, B&M Pro Stick
shifter, and miscellaneous trim. The front suspension was redone with upper and lower control arm bushings, ball joints, and shocks. The rear suspension includes new leaf springs, bushings, and shocks. The engine is a.030 over 350 with 4 bolt mains. Some of the upgrades include Summit rods, TRW forged pistons, solid lifter custom grind camshaft, GM aluminum 58cc heads with full roller rocker arms, high volume oil pump, Moroso deep sump oil pan, and double roller timing set.
There is a new heavy duty radiator, Edelbrock aluminum water pump, and high flow thermostat. The fuel system consists of a Barry Grant mechanical secondary carburetor on top of an Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, high
performance Carter mechanical fuel pump, 1/2" -AN fuel system, new fuel tanks, and new 1/2" stainless steel sending unit. The exhaust is made up of cerama- coated Hooker Super Competition full length headers and a 2.5" Flowmaster dual crossflow system.
The ignition system uses an MSD 7 series box, distributor, and ignition wires. The transmission is a TCI Street Fighter TH350 with high stall converter and external cooler/fan assembly. The final drive is a GM 8.5 10 Bolt rear with an Auburn locking diff. 30 spline, Richmond 3.73 ring and pinion, Moser axles, C clip elimination kit, and fully welded axle tubes.
