Also under the hood is a new chrome steering pump, new internal regulated chrome alternator, new wiper motor, and new brake booster/master cylinder. Stainless steel headers lead back to Xlerator stainless steel performance mufflers. The car sits atop Boss 338 gun metal wheels and Nitto NT555 255/45ZR18 tires. The interior is mostly new except for the dash, speedo, and dummy lights. The speedo and dummy lights all work though,

This a super clean, solid and well maintained 1971 BMW 1602 Vollcabrio in original Polar silver and black interior.

One of a relative handful left in the world (they only made 1500 or so of this model, and a lot of them are gone now). The upside: it drives REALLY well, and gets a LOT of looks. It starts and runs very smoothly. Mechanically it

’s super sound. The upholstery is very well kept. The top is still complete, although the fabric has tightened, so it ’s a bear to close (I typically leave it down at all times, but in a pinch, you can put it up.the top itself has no holes, the window is good, and the clamps work).

Wheels have been recently powder coated. Air filter housing has been powder coated too (looks sharp! ). It has seat belts (shoulder). It ’s super easy to work on, if you ’re inclined (it comes with a Hanes manual). There is no ‘cancer ’ on the car (as Phradeus the mechanic in SF said, is rare): wheel wells in the back have no rust. Other facts: mileage shows 800 km or so, and I THINK it ’s only gone around the horn once. But I have no way to guarantee that other than I think if it ’s over 200k, the car would be in terrible shape.

The car has been meticulously maintained and preserved during its lifetime. These Legends were and still are special automobiles. The 3.2-liter engines are smooth and powerful and when mated with Acura ’s manual transmission, are a blast

Inside, the ivory leather seats are like new! The prior owner kept sheepskin covers on the front seats so wear is virtually nonexistent. Leather is regularly treated to keep it soft and supple. Even the carpeted floor mats are in great condition as rubber mats protect them from dirt and wear. The wood on the console and doors is in great shape with no fading or cracking. The dash is also in like-new shape and there are no cracks on the center vents. Power windows and locks operate normally except the auto-down

feature on the driver ’s window. The climate control, AC and heater all function normally.

The Acura/Bose sound system sounds great and the optional CD changer in the trunk also plays 6 discs. The engine compartment is clean and unmodified as you can see from the photos. The hood struts could use replacement. This Legend is quite possibly the best, most original, unmodified, low-mileage example you will find. This car also has an aftermarket turbocharger. With only 33k miles, this is a very nice example of a mostly original car. needs clutch master replaced (presently working on this) and the fuel injection system checked; there was a slight leak at the distributor.

Was running, but I shut it off as soon as I saw the leak. I have not delved into the fuel system beyond verifying that the tank is clean and that the car was getting fuel out of the distributor so that the future owner can decide whether they wish to keep the turbo setup, revert the car to stock, or install an alternative fuel delivery system such as EFI or a carburetor.

The clutch master is also inoperable; a replacement master is included, but the Texas heat has been prohibitive for working in the garage and installing it. The frame is solid, but needs some attention on the rear cradle; it appears to have been scraped on something at some point. In the interest of being up-front and

honest about the condition, I have not repaired it so that way prospective buyers can verify that it is not rotten. A wire brush and POR-15 treatment is the recommended course of action.

The car has an upgraded stereo with custom kicker speakers in the front foot wells and rear speakers mounted in the parcel shelf, but the majority of the interior is original. The seats, have a few cracks in the leather, but no tears. Both the original dash and binnacle are crack-free, though there is some sun fade on the dash. The stainless on this car is in beautiful condition with no dents or prominent scratches; I would say no scratches, but the factory grain pattern was intended to hide the most minor of them. There are certainly no notable defects in the finish I have tried to make every fault as transparent as possible so that there are no surprises.

Runs and drives well just drove it on 300 mike trip and ran great has new genuine weber carburetor properly jetted and electronic ignition new cap distributor rotor and wires and plugs recent tuneup new tires all glass is original. Non original Paint shows well has a few blemishes and some overage on rubber trim but overall nice

condition, 2 small bubbles in the paint, small dent on roof, seat has small tear on backrest, slight oil leak if sits for a few days. Oil gauge drops at idle but has been checked with mechanical gauge and has good pressure, gauges are known to be fairly inaccurate on older opels.

Lights rotate properly and blinkers operates wipers work with exception of washer system. Clean title. No rust.

Used 1969 Opel GT 98,000 miles

Other than a repaint in the original black the car remains largely untouched and original.

The only modifications are an electric fuel pump and alternator by the previous owner. I put a Pertronix Ignitor II and a brand new Edelbrock carburetor on the 368. The Mark II runs, rides and drives as you would expect. The low miles, caring owners, and

dry climate mean this is one outstanding performing classic car. The sunny, dry climate also mean the leather interior is quite parched. That's the trade off for a nearly rust free 63 year old car. The only rust are some bubbles on the bottom of the front fenders (see pic).

I'd be glad to send any additional pics of the bottom of the car or any area you're concerned about. You'll be pleased. Now for numerous Mark II accessories. Three out four power windows work. LR 1/4 window has to be raised and lowers by hand. Speedo, temp, oil pressure and fuel gauge work. Clock and tach do not. The inoperative tach is a recent problem. The fuel sending unit had an in line resistor so now the fuel

gauge reads higher than accurate. Fortunately Continental saw fit to also put in a trip meter so I use both for judging the next fill up. The A/C blower works and the compressor engages with controls.

It does not blow cold. As most old A/C cars I'm sure it needs charged and perhaps a leak fixed. The front and rear bumpers are excellent as is most of the chrome throughout the interior and exterior of the car. Under the hood there's no rust. It's simply maintained except for the previously mentioned upgrades. The hideous air cleaner has been on my to do list for some time.
